Episode 8 of Remotely Renee

Welcome to Episode 8 of Remotely Renee. As always, thank you for your support and for coming back each week to listen in. It’s Snook’s birthday week (on January 23rd) AND Inauguration Week, so we have a lot to talk about!

This week we talk about how the University of Virginia women’s basketball season shut down due to Covid-19. Why do the women’s programs seem to be shutting down while other programs are powering through? Is it all about money? We discuss how Mark Davis, owner of the Las Vegas Raiders, has bought the Las Vegas Aces and how James Harden has been traded to the Nets. Does this make the Nets a “super team” now?

Renee and Snook hang out with celebrity Chef J. Ponder while he whips up some lamb chops and greens and Renee goes one on one with NBA Champion, entrepreneur, and cannabis advocate Matt Barnes. Listen in to his podcast “All the Smoke”, where he and co-host Stephen Jackson talk about policy changes and holding politicians accountable.Paul also gives his opinion on whether chicken feather proteins should be used to “beef up” meals.

Finally, Snook reflects on past presidential administrations and the changes and improvements they brought to the lives of Americans. This Inauguration Week will be a fresh start and a time to heal.
