Episode 6 of Remotely Renee

Welcome to Episode 6 of Remotely Renee, where we are welcoming in the new year! We’re happy to have you listening in! Since this is our voting episode, Renee went 1:1 with politician, lawyer, voting rights activist, and founder of the Fair Fight Action, Stacey Abrams. She also speaks with NseUfot, CEO of The New Georgia Project, about why the new senate race is so important. In addition to that, Renee announces that she has joined the ownership of one of the four teams within the Fan Controlled Football League. The season starts in February, so be ready! We also talk about the Red Sox hiring Bianca Smith as the first African American female pro baseball coach and about Kyrie Irving covering the college tuition for 9 students during “11 Days of Giving” in December (Kyrie is really serving his community and we hope it rubs off on other people!) And finally, we discuss how the state of Michigan is letting NCAA players profit off their likeness as of December 31st, 2022. This is good, but why not sooner? As always, thank you for joining us this week. Listen in to hear the rest of the show and please remember to rate, subscribe, and share with your friends!
